Hello,

I know no one can really answer this question with a definitive yes or not but was wondering if I could pull on anyone's experience:-

On the 6th June I went for a private scan thinking I was 7 weeks along, I was actually 5 weeks and 5 days but they were able to locate a heartbeat and everything was fine.

I went for another private scan yesterday as my husband isn't allowed to the NHS one I have next week and I thought I was 9 weeks and 5 days but baby measured at exactly 10 weeks and was having a really good wriggle around and heartbeat was very clear (scan pic below) - I'm two weeks before I'm out of the "danger zone", do you think I'll be okay? I'm just a worried.

Thank you

There isn't any reason for you to be worried, just try and relax about it and stay positive. The first 12 weeks are a worrying time but you've had a great outcome from your scan. Be happy about that!

It's a really good sign if you see a heartbeat after 8 weeks so hopefully all will be well.

I had an early scan at what I thought was 7+5 but baby only measured 6+1. 2 weeks later, she was 8+2 then, at the dating scan, she'd actually caught up by a week.
I'm now 34+3 and she's measuring just as she should be.

How you are feeling is totally normal and unfortunately you will probably have on and off anxiety throughout your pregnancy.
I'm 19weeks with my third and know my baby girl is perfectly healthy, strong heartbeat and I have constantly felt her moving from 14weeks but yesterday burst out crying and was worrying that she may be blind, deaf or disabled and then everything just made me cry 😫 today I realise how ridiculous I was being.
I don't think you ever stop worrying as a mum, even when your baby arrives you will still worry about various things, if it's taking over your life and you are getting too worked up speak to your midwife or doctor.
Try and relax and it won't be long until you see your little baby at your 12 week scan ❤️
