Hello everyone,

I had a fresh egg transfer on Wednesday. It's way too early, but I couldn't help but test, there is a tiny faint line on an early detection test.

Could be this be a positive or potentially caused by the trigger injection, which I took evening of the 24th June?

I know I shouldn't have done it. Just driving myself mad. Anyone in the same boat? Or had a similar situation?

Thanks x

I would say too early as still takes a couple of days to implant and start producing HCG.

Attached is my day 5 post 5 day transfer - a frozen cycle so no trigger

Fingers crossed for you though!

The trigger can hang around for 10 days or so, so I'd say it could still be that. Best of luck!

I see the line on your PM test for sure!

I had a (very faint) line at 3dp5dt twice. I didn’t have an HCG trigger (first time because of the risk of OHSS, second time was a frozen transfer) so there was no risk of it being that. The clinic thought I was nuts testing so early but I couldn’t help it.

I would say yours may well be a BFP as the PM one looks darker (whereas if it was the trigger it would be fading by now) but keeping everything crossed for you.

Oh thank-you! I hope so too. It's mental torture isn't it. I should have got my hubs to hide the tests, the temptation is just too much!

We only got 5 eggs out and this little blastocyst was the only 1 that survived. No frozen, so everything really is on this 1.

Did your faint line turn into a positive in the end? X

Yes, my faint lines turned into a lovely DD on each occasion Smile I was very lucky I know.

Hope you get an answer this morning!

Morning! Love hearing stories like yours. It's so reassuring.

The attached picture is from this morning. Still convinced this could be the trigger? Freaking out! Got more cramps today too, that feel a bit more intense.

You are still very early on - and there is plenty of time for levels to rise. I only tested at 5 days because I felt physically sick (and have done everyday since - now 32 weeks)

Thanks :) I need to chill out I think lol Hope your pregnancy has been ok other than that? Not long to go!! 💜
