Hi all. Thought I’d post here as I’m in a state of shock.....my period is due any day now and I’ve been having lots of period pain/cramping, however have done a test this morning because I’m due to be going for a drink with my friends today, and to my shock/joy it’s come up positive! This is our second month trying and I was convinced it would be a no this month due to how ‘periody’ I’ve felt this last week. Would you agree that’s a positive?! And is that normal to have period pain?! Thanks 😊 x

That is very positive! Congratulations! And yes it's common to have mild cramps. Smile

100% positive and also totally normal for cramps too. For the first 2/3 weeks after my BFP I had the horrible dragging feeling that my period was about to start.... prepare for lots of knicker checking!!

Congratulations! Looks like you’re sticking to juice today Grin

You can have a false negative but not a false positive I think Smile

Congratulations! Looks very positive to me! I felt very much like you also... perhaps implantation cramps.

Sevo7 · 04/07/2020 09:16

Definitely positive and mild period like cramps are normal, in fact in all my pregnancy’s it’s been my only consistent early pregnancy symptom. Congratulations

Congratulations!!!!! Grin

Period pains are completely normal. I had severe, curl up on the floor in the feral position cramps and I'm now 38 weeks pregnant.

Xx

Thanks so much girls, that’s made me feel much better 😊. Just couldn’t understand how it could be positive when I would have put every penny I have on the fact my period would be any second now from the way I’ve felt. Ahh amazing. And yes, lemonade it is, cheers! Amy x
