Help! Feeling constipated and Pressure in bum

Please help. I’m 35+4 and feeling a pressure in my bum and a constipated feeling but I’m not actually constipated, and having been having regular bowel movements (sorry tmi).

I have felt a couple of very very mild contractions pains (I think) in the last week.

My first DC was born slightly early at 36+4 so I’m very wary the same could happend this time round.

It’s been 5 years and I seem to have forgotten everything, so can anyone please please tell me if this could mean that I will potentially go into labour soon or could it just be my body gearing up for the birth?

Thank you

Have you had a show?

No show @FredaFrogspawn. Everything else seems normal but my belly has definitely dropped.

I think you should ring a midwife as it's possibly labour starting.

I was the same at 35ish weeks. MW said it was just baby’s head moving down. Now nearly 38 weeks and no sign of baby yet.

I felt the same at 35 weeks, felt like baby was sitting right there ready to come out, which I wasn't expecting as I thought 2nd babies didn't drop until labour started. 38 weeks tomorrow and still no sign of baby but still have the same feeling. Worth running past your midwive though since you went early with your first. Good luck!
