Hey all you beautiful mums.

I have a few little questions to anyone who can help me.

Bit of a background story. I tried conceiving for 7 years on all fertility meds and unfortunately suffered various MMC.
After loosing all hope we caught naturally and I now have a healthy gorgeous 17 month old boy.
I am not unexpectedly PG AGAIN 🙈 literally only just found out and I’m around 4-5 weeks so very early days. I’m on baby Asprin and progesterone pessary to try and help like my other pregnancies.

My questions are please:

  1. I have worse cramping than before, but it comes and goes but it’s mostly in the back. Is this not a because I didn’t have cramping before with my son only when I’ve miscarried.
  1. I have a mad little Duracell bunny of a child lol am I okay still picking him up and going out daily activities. He a rough and tumble kind of boy lol.
  1. Is it normal not to feel pregnant at this stage.

Any response would be greatly appreciated.

Jess 😘

Hi! Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I mean I’m very early days as well, only a few weeks ahead of you but just wanted to let you know you’re not alone in feeling like that.

I’m 7+6 now and I was hit like a truck with nausea and fatigue at about 6 weeks. Before this, I was prancing around with full energy and felt 100% normal. I kept having to look at the test to check it was still positive! So completely normal to feel nothing at your stage.

Cramps, really bad. I kept expecting to see blood when I went to the loo. They’ve really calmed down now. Pretty much none now. Also very normal at your stage!

I also have a very active 2 year old DS. He kicks me daily in the stomach. Sends me into a panic every time but I’ve been reassured that baby is very very tucked away at this point and completely out of harms way. In fact, I had an early scan at 6 weeks due to a hematoma & she pressed down with the abdominal scanner WAY harder than my DS could kick. So also fine! Oh & you’re used to picking him up so it’s not a problem at all.

All the best! Congratulations again! Xx

Aww thanks for your reply lovely. That's provided me with some reassurance. I can't remember the beginning of my pregnancy that was successful so I'm back to panic mode that something will go wrong. I've noticed there's no cramps today and there's no metallic taste in my mouth. Not sure day by day if some days are stronger than others where symptoms are concerned. I'm also out of breath too which is unusual for me and I can't remember being like this on my son. Congratulations on your pregnancy. I'm on progesterone pessaries to help me but they can also mask miscarriages like they've done previous. So an apprehensive time for. Me Confused
