Hi all. I’ve spoken to the hospital already and they said it’s pretty common and usually just an irritation of the Cervix, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if everything was ok? I had a scan at 17 weeks and all was good

Hi, I’ve had this a few time’s during this pregnancy especially in the second trimester, I did eventually end up going to get checked and they said I had cervical ectropion which is harmless and was causing the bleeding.

I’m currently 34 weeks and everything has been fine so far ☺️

Yes I was going to say it may be cervical ectropian. Was it dark blood?

Thanks ladies, makes me feel better knowing I’m not alone and it wasn’t anything to worry about.
@Doyouwantanothercuppa no it was red straight after sex but brown by early morning and gone by late morning

Did they mention anything about an anti-D injection? You may need one depending on your blood type and the blood type of baby’s father. It’s worth ringing back to check. I had loads

@Doyouwantanothercuppa I’m O+ so they said I didn’t need it?
