No way I could be pregnant.... is there?!

Hi all. AF was due yesterday and no sign yet. I'm normally very regular and only ever late if I'm pregnant. My boobs have been very sore though!

I took a test and I'm fairly sure it's negative, although I think I have line eyes as I keep thinking I can see.. something? I really don't know!

Here's the thing. The last time I had sex was four weeks ago, we used a condom and it definitely didn't split as far as we know, and I got what I assumed was a period about a week later. So no way I'm pregnant, right? But AF IS late and it never ever is normally unless I'm pregnant! Plus if I was pregnant, at six weeks there would surely be a strong undeniable positive?

I can't see a line and you are only one day late, the sore boobs probably mean your period is on its way. All sorts of things can cause variation even in people who are normally regular.

Stress definitely can cause it. I hope you get the outcome you want :)

I can’t see anything but these tests aren’t very sensitive so even if you were it wouldn’t tell you yet.

So extremely inconclusive. Not much help I’m afraid sorry!

Possibly see something but hard to tell on picture. Shine your phone torch behind it. That’s how I got my super squinter on these.

I think if the last time you had sex was 4 weeks ago, the line would be much more visible now if you are pregnant as you would be approx 6 weeks.

How long are your cycles? If you had what you thought was a period 3 weeks ago (1 week after having sex 4 weeks ago), this would make your cycles about 21days is that right?

I can't see a line. I used those same sort of dip tests when I was trying and when I realised I was pregnant I was 6 weeks along and had a really strong line, I think you would see a definite line by now if it was positive.

You said you were stressed and I wanted to add, a few observational studies have found that lockdown is messing with women's cycles! So that may be why you're late, even though it's so unusual for you. X

I feel like I can see something kind of? I was exactly the same when I used these same tests, the first couple I did when my period was due, the line was so faint I wasn't sure I could even see it and I definitely couldn't get a picture of it! Assumed I wasn't pregnant but period still hadn't started 3 days later so did another one but it was still super faint, finally got a proper positive test with these tests about 5/6 days after my period was due, then confirmed with clear blue and FRER. So I'd say leave it a few days and then do it again if AF still hasn't arrived.

Looks negative to me

You can get an implantation bleed, which you can think is a period.
