I found out last Wednesday I’m pregnant. Tomorrow (Thursday) I am 6 weeks. I have had cramping like period cramps since I took the test however yesterday and today both around 7pm there has been the tiniest bit of pink blood when I’ve wiped. Only the once on both days. I also have an aching pain above the muscle in my right arm not sure if this is normal for pregnancy however it could be I’ve slept funny or how I’ve been working. This pain has been there for about 4 days it started in my neck. Any idea am I miscarrying?

Every single twinge during my first trimester I thought I was miscarrying. I had quite a lot of cramping throughout, like period pains and achy, sometimes sharp stabby pains. I also bled daily through weeks 8-14. This ranged from a bit of a pink tinge, to full on passing clots and bleeding like a tap had been turn on! Each time I thought I was going to lose my baby but the good side is that the bleeding turned out to be a subchoronic haematoma, which is bleeding in the uterus and didn't do any harm to baby. I'm just back from a growth scan today at 28 weeks and baby is happy and healthy. Honestly, a pi n tinge could just be impltation bleeding which is totally normal. Get yourself registered with your midwife and get your booking appointment scheduled. If you experience and more heavier bleeding, find out the details for your local Early Pregnancy Unit to see if you can get scanned. I hope everything goes well for you Flowers

I am 5+5 weeks today and have had some bleeding the last couple of days. I spoke to my early pregnancy unit today and one of the things she asked me about was shoulder pain as apparently (weirdly ) that can be a warning sign of an ectopic pregnancy. Thought I should mention that as you mentioned arm pain. Otherwise she did say a lot of people get some bleeding at it's not necessarily a problem

Gee65 · 01/07/2020 19:30

I spoke to a midwife today she didn’t seem too concerned about the pain in my arm as the pain has been manageable and like a ache like I’ve slept funny. She is making me go in tomorrow for an emergency check so fingers crossed it’s all okay

Any little pain and I’m terrified something is wrong. The blood yesterday was barely noticeable but because I’ve been checking literally every time I go I noticed it 😫

I hope you get good news tomorrow

Gee65 · 01/07/2020 19:33

Fingers crossed. This is my first pregnancy so I’ve not been sure what is normal and what is not

I went to the hospital today and had an internal scan, Baby was fine and measuring about 5 weeks and she heard a heart beat. Even printed me a little scan. The bleeding is not coming from where baby is and she said the cramping is not normal but it common x

So glad to hear that gee65. I have been told if I'm still having bleeding next week they will get me in to scan me

Gee65 · 02/07/2020 18:39

I think they only got me in so quick because of the pain in my arm. Are you bleeding a lot? I’ve heard bleeding is quite common early on especially at around our time

Light bleeding but for about 3 days now, really hoping it's nothing. We have a private scan booked for 8 weeks which we did consider bringing forwards to next week but worried it won't show anything to reassure me as it's too early

Gee65 · 02/07/2020 21:38

I had an internal scan it couldn’t show me much as baby was so small but showed me the baby and the heart beat. Maybe call and ask for one of them. I heard some people can still get a ‘period’ during the first trimester and could be the implantation bleed? I would call them though just to try and ease your mind

I spoke to the early pregnancy unit on Wednesday and they are the ones who said it was to early to be able to scan me as it wouldn't show anything reassuring but they would next week if it was still going on (I will be 6+4/5 by then).

Gee65 · 02/07/2020 22:36

At least it’s not a long wait !!!

No I will call them back on Tuesday if it's still going on as that's a week after it started. If it's stopped then they just said not to worry about it but I think we will try to move our private scan forwards in that case as I'm not sure I'm capable of not worrying about it! I have only slept about 2hrs for the last 2 nights as it is.

Hi mums, this is my second pregnancy, I had given birth to my first baby who died when she was 1 month and 8 days old due to multiple congenital anomalies. I did not bled on my first trimester on my first pregnancy, although I almost lost that pregnancy during my first trimester too.

But on my second pregnancy which I am currently on with, I am 6 weeks pregnant and was bleeding like I am having period with cramps. Ive been in ER twice, they do pelvic exam, cervix close, did an ultrasound and saw a sac but still too small to see baby and still no heartbeat and they also saw cyst somewhere in uterus. hcg level is still low, and after 2 days I went back as instructed, hcg went up a little bit, and sent me home for bed rest and observation. they refered me to OB that I cant contact, and dont know what to do now as i am still bleeding and cramping just waiting as they instructed. they said I might be miscarrying my second baby but refused to give me progesterone as ive hered it will help the baby to kepp holding. I hope I could hear some hopes from others who experienced the same as I am experiencing right now. I am praying my baby will be fine. thank you.

Hi babe, I gave birth to my daughter 12 days ago. This bleeding I had when I wrote this thread they never found a cause. However throughout the pregnancy I bled some other times and at about 30 weeks they said I had a cervical ectropion which was the cause for the bleeding. Hope your pregnancy is well x
