Advice needed please/possible implantation bleed

Hi there, just posting to ask for some advice and to see if anyone’s experienced anything similar.

Partner and I had sex twice around ovulation last month, my period was due on the 29th June (26 day cycle) and I started bleeding on the 29th but period was totally different to usual. I normally have horrendously heavy periods but this was basically brown spotting. I had and have pretty bad cramps so decided to give it a couple of days before testing. Just took a first response test which is saying positive (would be 12 dpo), but am really confused as still have the cramps going on and some more spotting which is now red??

If your blood is bright red I would call nhs 111 or go a&e

Well the cramping seems to have calmed down a bit now and spotting has gone from red back to brown. I’ll probably phone 111 for some advice if the bleeding starts again. Anyone else experienced implantation bleeding like this? I didn’t have this with my first.

I had implantation bleeding with pain. And a week long of spotting when I wiped last week on still praying it's OK.

It is a worry. I didn’t have this first time around so I’ve been googling like a crazy person. Feels weird to have period symptoms and a positive pregnancy test! Hope everything works ok for you, Glamourous
