Empty gestational sac@5w1d & light bleeding

Hello All!

Really need some guidance here as it’s my first pregnancy . First ultrasound at 5w1d detected an empty gestational sac. I’m at 6w2d now and HCG is 10250.
Is it normal to have an empty sac at 5w? I am having light bleeding as well for past 6 days. Has anyone had similar experience?
My 2nd ultrasound is scheduled for next week and this wait is killing me :(

I am with you! Thought I was 12w but got told at scan yesterday I was 6w1d. I have very very irregular periods so it may be due to that. I am waiting to be called in for another scan next week. Wait is killing me also and don’t know how to distract myself so keep googling and reading all the threads here. Sorry I know this is not useful but just wanted to let you know that I feel you and am also having to wait .... 😔
