@WhoUsedMyName lovely pics! I feel like mines a boy but no theory, just a feeling.

@footprintsintheslow that's exciting. Glad it went well

@SnookyPook 100% surreal and I've had this nagging feeling my body was just playing a big joke on me and there wouldn't be anything there. Apparently that's really common to feel that way so we're not alone.

Hi ladies , I am currently 13 wks 4 days - was nausea / sickness free for two week - mild / severe on some days ! Now since Saturday evening I have had severe nausea - all day an unable to do much and barely eating only sipping water . I have a GP tele consult tomorrow morning - just wandered what prescription he will give me and if it actually works ?
I am also sipping ginger tea and have the odd piece of fruit xxx TIA

Hi @Goldings28
I'm the same date as you and still suffering with sickness and nauseous, I thought by now it would of gone, I hope the gp call goes well and they can recommend something for you

Goldings28 · 02/07/2020 19:00

Sorry to hear that you are feeling the same and have the sickness as well as the nausea too - I thought things couldn’t get any worse !! Did you have any meds that make you feel better ? X

Report
Sazzy312 · 02/07/2020 19:14

@Goldings28 no I didn't as I didn't think mine was that bad but at the minute it's getting me down, I've just puked up my dinner sorry tmi but that's two nights on the trot, I think maybe hubby is now cooking me too much as I'm feeling less nauseous I can eat more but I shouldn't as body obviously doesn't like it

@Goldings28 I was prescribed some anti sickness tablets from the gp but I didn't think they worked and my sickness has become worse... Barley eating anything and if I do it comes back up before it's got down... Midwife said as long as I can sip water then it's fine x

I find that plain crackers and plain crisps and ice pops help me feel like I've at least had something x

Meds were called cyclizine, think this is the first one they may try you on, it was one 3 times a day x

Goldings28 · 02/07/2020 20:29

Thanks for your messages so sorry you are both feeling worse off and the meds didn’t help ! I hope you feel better soon x

Hi ladies, just a sense check question from me. Anyone else experiencing really broken sleep? I'm also struggling to breathe when I lay on my side....is that a thing?

Report
WhoUsedMyName · 03/07/2020 09:09

The struggling to sleep thing has happened the whole first trimester for me being sooooo tired then awake at 3am! Not sure about not being able to breath though as usually that when your on your back apparently x

Currently in hospital on a drip to get extra fluid and anti sickness as I have not even been able to keep water down - I feel horrific - hope this helps 😔

I nearly fainted in Asda this morning ... came over all woozy and managed to sit down. Had a chocolate bar and a drink which helped.
Hope you are ok @lauraha85 xx

Oh no @Lauraha85 that’s super shitty. I can’t remember if you’ve told people. Have you had to concoct an elaborate cover story???

@Lauraha85 - I had this at the start of my pregnancy and was told I have hyperemesis. If this is the start of it for you then I would really recommend joining the MN Hyperemesis support group as there are some really great tips on how to manage it. I'm so sorry you're in hospital on fluids, but it really is the best place to get your system reset. Hopefully you can get onto your GP to also prescribe you something to take when you get home. I'm on Ondansetron. Sending love and so many positive vibes. xxx

I’ve literally had a great nights sleep and woken up in a mega shitty mood. Might be hormones but I’m in a piss with the cat, DS, DH and the washing machine repairman. Can’t tell if I’m unreasonable or they’re all utter dicks whose mission in life is to drive me nuts. 🤔🤔🤔

I contacted my midwife about the faint episode and she said it’s the good old hormones playing up. Said it’s postural hypotension which I suffered with before pregnancy.
I hope you are both ok Angela and Laura... I font suffer with morning sickness luckily, just major food aversions xx
