@Onekidnoclue @nchristie I've just rung the drs to arrange to speak to the midwife and the next time she's in is Tuesday next week. It's a long wait but at least it's booked in and a letter could arrive before then.

MissHoney85 · 15/07/2020 12:06

@footprintsintheslow I was paranoid about my results as I got myself worked up that the NT was slightly high. (Only 2.15mm but I made the mistake of googling and found out that was 77th centile for the CRL.) I couldn't bear waiting for the phone to ring, so looked in my paperwork and found a phone number for the 'Screening Midwife'. I called it after 48 hours and she was happy to give me my results there and then. Might be worth looking to see if you can find a similar number anywhere?

nchristie · 15/07/2020 12:07

@footprintsintheslow good you've got a time lined up to talk with the midwife and hope the letter arrives soon. xxx

lydiangel83 · 16/07/2020 07:51

I had 12 wk scan yesterday and thought I was 13+5 but actually 12+3 but I'm ok with that. Still feeling awfully sick and still piling weight on so praying i feel better soon! Sorry to hear others still feeling sick too x

SnookyPook · 16/07/2020 08:25

@lydiangel83 ah that’s a bit of a change! At least a healthy growing Babba though! Sorry you’re still suffering a bit - hopefully we’ll all start feeling perky and energetic soon!! 🤞🏼

Opelbow · 16/07/2020 15:21

I'm at my scan appointment.
Had a quick look at baby. But sent out for a walk as it was upside down.

They’re such scamps these babies! I had to do a series of very undignified movements to try to jiggle mine into position 🥴
Think they like to get you under the thumb early!
Good luck @Opelbow

Are you all finding out the gender? We are going to, however has been much to the disappointment of my husbands family who would like it being a surprise

Onekidnoclue · 16/07/2020 18:08

@123Phi we’ve already found out as had the harmony test! We’re having another boy.
Tbh I think it’s tough if your husbands family don’t want to know. They get to decide for their kids, you do for yours.
I got super pissed off last time when both sides kept saying we should name DS1 to honour their heritage. Pft. They had their shot to do that with their children (and didn’t) so can pipe down. Rant over GrinGrin

Finally back took a full hour of walks and scans

@123Phi we have the opposite scenario. We don't want to find out the sex but MIL desperately wants to know. Tough shit sunshine. 😉

@Opelbow great relief for the scan

Opelbow · 16/07/2020 19:02

Thank you SmileSmile

123Phi · 16/07/2020 19:12

@Onekidnoclue haha I love a good rant! It’s very true though, this is our time.

@footprintsintheslow haha made me laugh!

SnookyPook · 16/07/2020 21:55

@Opelbow - yay! Glad all went well!

I think we will find out as long as Babba cooperates! Not sure my step-daughter could bear to wait the full 9months no know if she’s getting a brother or a sister 😋

I feel quite lucky - we’ve not had anyone trying to stick an oar in so far bit I absolutely agree @Onekidnoclue, people get to do what they like with their own babies and I will decide for mine! Some people are so rude and presumptuous!

Tink2020 · 18/07/2020 08:48

I love my tiny little bump, especially now I can see it at some points of the day when I’m not bloated 😍

SnookyPook · 18/07/2020 11:24

@Tink2020 aw! Yeah I’m beginning to think I can see something that isn’t just bloat at certain points! Exciting! 😁

WhoUsedMyName · 18/07/2020 12:56

I have a huge bump! I look huge they say with each baby you show more but my last was a little girl and I was tiny with her this is 100% a boy 🤣

Tink2020 · 18/07/2020 16:58

This is my first but I lost a lot of weight before getting pregnant and it’s pretty obvious now. It’s really low down, just pops out above my waist line on my trousers. Gets pretty big when bloated so it’s nice to see it without being bloated occasionally 🤣

SkylinesTurnstiles · 19/07/2020 17:40

I don’t think I have a bump yet, just a bloat! 😂
But I am definitely feeling pretty solid underneath my belly button - I suspect this may be the beginnings of my bump? 🤞

Pav3190 · 19/07/2020 18:33

Hi all.. New here.. I had my NT scan this Thursday (12wk+5) and they gave a report that my right uterine doppler shows high resistance. Pi level is 2.29. Can anyone show some light on this? I have my docvappointment only on coming saturday. Can't wait till that

Tink2020 · 19/07/2020 19:09

@Pav3190 had a google and found this www.ouh.nhs.uk/patient-guide/leaflets/files/13396Pdoppler.pdf

Hey, how is everyone anyone else
Freaking out now there past the 13 week mark and feel human again. I know it’s silly I have counted down the days for the sickness to pass etc but now I’m it’s gone and the 20 week scan is still a month away freaking out a bit, can’t wait to feel the baby moving hopefully that will calm my anxiety xx
