I’m 7+5 and just cannot shake this headache and it’s driving me mad! I suffer from migraines and can’t take my migraine tablets as they harmful to pregnancies so that’s fine, but this headache is just relentless! I’m used to getting a migraine, taking a tablet and it going within a few hours (v. lucky) but this is just non-stop 😢😢

I suffer from really bad migraines too and when I was pregnant with DD, in the first trimester they were horrendous. Mine were put down to hormonal changes. Get plenty of water and rest I think you should really go and see your GP as well if you struggle to cope with them or it continues just so they can make sure everything is ok might be able to give you a blood test and check your iron levels. Hope you feel better soon x

I have bad headaches - have been told I can keep taking my painkillers but I had a long conversation with various doctors about it until I made the decision to do so.

Does anything else help like the forehead gels? I have heard that headaches can level off once the hormones calm down a bit after the first trimester

I am the same - I found a painkiller that worked within a couple of hours and it absolutely changed my life - headaches are the worst

Thank you both ☺️ I’m struggling to stay hydrated which probably isn’t helping... this is going to sound mad but I’ve had it for years... too much water gives me headaches! So I’m in a catch 22 situation, if I drink lots I get a headache and if I don’t drink lots I get a headache.

I live for my cold packs!! I’m using so many that they’re not cool enough by the time I’ve circled back round to them! I’ll give it a couple more days and if not try and get in to see my GP x
