Fertility struggles after c-section

I’m only around 7-8 weeks but am already thinking of delivery plan and thinking of requesting a c-section due to previous medical reasons, but I read recently that a c-section can lead to fertility issues and as I’m hoping to have more than one baby this concerns me slightly.
Has anyone had any experience either way that they don’t mind sharing? X

I'm sure it all depends on the individuals. I have had 4 c sections and thankfully no problem conceiving at all.

@BingerGiscuit I also read about the c section scar potentially causing infertility but i think it only affects a minority of women. My first two children were conceived straight away, and I had a c section with my second. It took me 6 cycles to conceive my third, so a bit longer but still within the normal range. A friend of mine conceived without any issues after her c sections. It probably depends on the individuals and if the scar brings on complications

I had an emcs with ds and then got pregnant by accident very easily again. I think we had only DTD once in 6 months (various reason we were living apart with a non sleeping toddler and very little childcare) and thats when I conceived again and I was still breast feeding.

I had to have an emergency c section in March and all I've been told is due to a downward tear inside, I can now never have a vaginal birth due to. Possible rupture. This is only because of the position of baby after me pushing for an hour and half though
