Diarrhoea at 23 weeks? TMI warning

I’m 23 weeks and since about a week ago have felt baby move and kick.
Tonight I’ve had a really gassy stomach and then had diarrhoea, it smelt horrific 😖 the pains were awful and I started to worry it was contractions at one point 😄. I’m a ftm so haven’t a clue, I’ve read it isn’t normal to have diarrhoea in the second trimester but tbh I’ve had a few episodes in the first trimester but not as bad as tonight.
My baby is now kicking which she normally does at night but seems a little more active right now ( I’m in bed now) should I be worried?

I'm nearly 34 weeks and have had bouts of diarrhoea in all 3 trimesters. I've had that a lot more than the constipation which google tells you is far more common!
The pains sound like trapped gas. They can be awful and really strong, I'm doubled over in pain sometimes but find peppermint tea helps.
