Sorry if someone has already asked this but I'm 25+2 and I don't remember my baby stopping moving and kicking for more than half an hour all day even when I've been stood up and moving around!! She is normally fairly active but she's literally been kicking all day however I sit, stand or lay and she's still at it now!! I'll probably be panicking tomorrow if she's tired out and quieter!!

My first baby was not as active as this one but is it possible for her to move too much I'm worried she won't be growing enough as it seems like she's hardly sleeping!! Please help!! Xxx

Please ring your maternity unit tonight and explain your baby is moving alot more and is very active all of a sudden

If this is a sudden change then give your MAU a call just to run it by them. I'm sure it's fine but best to check with any sudden change.

Babies move in the womb when they're asleep too - it's involuntary twitches rather than conscious movement, so don't worry that she's not sleeping. Call your midwife to talk it through regardless - always better to check :)

My baby moves 24/7 too and they have never raised it as a concern they said if anything it's lucky to have a baby who moves lots! I was worried though aswell because it seems like she's distressed but maybe she's just super excited all the time lol

Called the mw she said not to worry as babies do get more active and you can feel more movement as they get bigger they only really worry if the baby moves less!! She said it's good if then baby is active -I can feel pretty much all her movements to as I have a posterior placenta so there's nothing to cushion her movements!! Xx

I@MummyBearBoo aww that's the same as me! I felt movements from like 14 weeks and I'm FTM. Her movements are so strong and painful and I see her whole body sticking out all the time and my bump is completely rock hard. I just have a posterior placenta too, at the scan they said it was "out the way" whatever that means lol

My bump is rock hard too and when she kicks it moves so much DH was laughing at me yesterday trying to just sit down with my tummy jerking all over the place kicks and punches coming out the sides my right side took the brunt yesterday! Xxx

This one is still crazily active it sometimes feels pretty uncomfortable but I love the reassurance it gives me! Xxx
