Hi Everyone, i was wondering is it normal to get pain down there...i am due in mid august and for past 2 weeks, i have been feeling pain down there, can't tell if its vagina or the vulva (sorry if its TMI), especially in the morning and night time, i feel strange pain in that area, sometimes its like if something is stuck up there like a tampon half in, half out kinda feeling. Am i the only one who is feeling or is it totally normal??

Google Lightening crotch or (sorry) some call it 'fanny daggers'. These feel like sharp shooting pains and I get them a lot. It seems to increase as my pregnancy goes on. 38 weeks tomorrow and had it a lot the last two days. It's where baby is engaging 🙂

As pp said, this is normal, I think a proper name might be "round ligament pain", which can also occur in the lower abdomen.

I'm 33 weeks and baby was head down at my last check and for the last 4 weeks or so definitely had a lot more lightening crotch attacks 😬 or if i walk for a longish time I get a lot of pressure/pain down it that area. Assuming its because of baby's head down position and he is obviously getting heavier the further along I get!
