Cot canopy's

I'm starting to think about decorating the nursery and I love the idea of a cot canopy for my little girl however I know some report these not being safe. Is there a safe way to attach one? I'm thinking of one that hangs from the ceiling and drapes down...

How old is she? I would 100% avoid anything that could potentially be loose and drapey in or near the cot, huge suffocation risk.

I’ve read they’re dangerous once baby is old enough to grab things or move about in the cot. They look gorgeous but I’m not sure I’d want to take the risk.

Once they’re standing in their cot, you might find you regret the canopy.
I’d personally avoid it. It’s isn’t worth the risk. Have fun decorating xx
