Hi ladies! I'm coming to the end now. 36+4 and my insomnia is insane. I've never suffered before. I'm not sleeping more than an hour nap or so in the afternoon to compensate. But I'm awake normally from 1am - 4.30/5am. Is anyone else suffering? Have you found any fixes to help?

No answer to give I am afraid but wanted you to know you aren't the only one.

I am 36+3 - don't sleep for more than an hour at a time. I came to bed a 11 as I was exhausted and I've still not been to sleep. Just finished the ironing though! 😂

Yes, most nights I'm awake from 2-5 or 6 then fall back to sleep for a couple of hours. Not sure how I'd manage if I wasn't off from work! I'm 37 weeks and it's been like this for at least 3 weeks 🥺

Yep same problem here! I’m also 36 weeks and been awake since 3:45, didn’t get to sleep until gone midnight! Just cannot get comfortable! We’re nearly there now ladies!

No fixes I'm afraid but just wanted to say you're not alone.
I'm coming up to 34 weeks and struggle to fall asleep before midnight then wake up at 4 or 5 am every morning, without fail.

I'm one day behind you and having the same issue. I fall asleep super early but wake super early as well.
I am napping in the afternoon when my toddler naps, but I absolutely hate it. It makes me feel elderly!!

LutherRalph1 · 29/06/2020 06:54

Yes! I really struggled with this. I'd wake up and have tea and toast and that would help me doze back off

Avearage · 29/06/2020 23:16

Yep but only 29 weeks awake for hours.....watching my husband sleep on his front..... I'm not sure if it's pregnancy or jealousy that's keeping me awake but it's very annoying!
Tonights efforts warm bath, milky drink and a Bannana, so far I'm still awake overthinking everything!!

OMG 36+5 here and last night I had 4 hours sleep!! Not okay!!! Not functioning at all

Littleelffriend · 30/06/2020 06:43

Yes I’m knackered but can’t sleep. I’m 39 weeks and starting to worry that I won’t have the energy to give birth. I’m still working so can’t really nap during the day.
