Itchy skin

Hi all, I'm 5 weeks pregnant and for the last 4-5 days I have been suffering with really itchy skin, all over but comes and goes in different spots. I think the heat isn't helping nor is the fact I have been taking a daily allergy tablet since April which I of course now can't take. Any one had something similar and can suggest anything? I use Aveeno cream and am liberally covering my self in it several times a day but it doesn't seem to have much effect.

Anyone have any ideas?

I've had this in early pregnancy it can be your skin stretching, moisturise cDNA help. Itchy skin in later pregnancy can be a liver condition but as your 5 weeks I suspect t it's what a lot of ladies get. Moisturise abs see if that helps xx

It can be a sign of a liver problem. I’ve had itching throughout pregnancy and had two blood tests to check my liver, thankfully it was fine but definitely worth ruling that out. I’m guessing you won’t have seen a midwife yet? Best to call your GP in that case
