Induced for SPD

Has anyone been induced for SPD? I have been asking my midwife to speak to the consultant about getting induced on my due date. I'm 38+ 3. So far she has bee reluctantly to even discuss it, apparently it's not safe to go into hospital any time soon because of covid-19. I have an appointment with her on Wednesday but have a strong feeling I will be fobbed off again. I am really struggling with basic day to day tasks, and I have a 5 year old and a 14 month old. I have managed to speak to a physiotherapy and have been following her advice but they are still unable to see anyone just now. Are they likely to induce me for SPD alone? My last baby was 9lb and I dread to think how bad the pain is going to get and how bad labour is going to be if I'm left to go over my due date.

Hi I suffered badly with this - was in a wheelchair.

An osteopath was the only thing that helped, my pelvis also kept twisting.I had
An elective Caesarian at 37+5 weeks.

I was induced a week early. I too was in a wheelchair. It was horrendous. They did it because my baby was measuring big, not necessarily because of the spd. My consultant told me they'd rather you have a natural birth than c sec and it was very rare they induced.
