Hi, not sure if this is the right area to ask this, but has anyone opted to privately have stem cells collected and storage at birth? Looking for recommendations for companies, I'm in the UK.
I'm due in the autumn have family history of an illness and wondered if this would be a way to go, I know nothing is 100%granteed, but I can afford the gerenal price I've seen, just want to see if anyone has any experience of having this done.
