Constipation

I’m 21 weeks and suffering awful constipation. Haven’t been to the toilet for 5 days now. My diet is generally balanced and I’ve eat lots of fresh fruit and salad. I’ve tried increasing fibre with Weetabix and twiglets, i drink at least 3 pints of water a day, strong black coffee first thing in the morning hasn’t worked, I even started on dulcoease last night and absolutely nothing.

I’ve started feeling really grotty with it today and have completely lost my appetite. I just can’t stand the thought of “adding to backlog” with no relief in sight but know I need to eat. Before going out today my husband mentioned that he hopes I don’t start vomiting poo!!!! So I’ve been sat around today worrying about that now lol. I will call GP on Monday, but has anyone else gone this long without going to the loo? Any tips I can try on top of dulcoease? Will I explode if I eat something today?? Help!!

I'm not pregnant but I do have to have a regime. At least 10 fruit and veg per day including dried prunes. I don't know what to suggest for the backlog (fnar) though. If safe you might want to try a glycerin suppository.
