Lower abdominal pain, help!!

I’m 27 weeks pregnant and last night after going to the toilet (tmi) I had this sudden excruciating pain in my lower right abdomen, between bump and hip. I woke up at 3am, still there and called Maternity triage, they told me to take painkillers and call back if it didn’t improve. 6am, I called back as my hands had now swollen, 8am I was in hospital being checked. Baby is fine and all my vitals seem fine (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate) and I was sent away and told to call if the pain worsened...
It has! It’s awful now! I can eat, I don’t feel sick or anything but I have been suffering with constipation the last few days.
I’ve called triage again and they’ve told me it could be linked to constipation or pelvic girdle pain as I have no symptoms of appendicitis. The pain is acute, I have no idea what to do with myself. Has anyone had this?

Sounds like the pain I had. Mine was round ligament pain and I couldn't get up off the sofa with it. I had it in my 1st and 2nd trimester. A warm bath helped a little.

Oh bless you! Woah, that bad? I’ve heard it shouldn’t last last long as it has which is why I’m worrying. It’s constant and keeps taking my breath away with how sore it is!
