Hello!
I'm 37+3 pregnant and today I have had lots of bearing down pain, especially on my bladder. I know it's TMI but I'm getting milky white discharge and it really smells. Is this normal? To the point that I had a shower and straight away I could smell it again. Never had that before Sad do you think things could be moving towards labour?
I keep getting little aches in my lower back too. I know I should call my midwife but just thought I'd get some advice on here first :)
Thankyou xxx

I think milky white discharge is normal but anything with an odour I'd probably give the midwife a quick call.

It sound like your body is preparing, all sounds normal however I would ring the midwife about the discharge if it smells as it can be a sign of infection. Always ring your midwife if you have any concerns Smilex

I've been getting the pain and pressure since 35 weeks so I'd say that's normal. I have the same discharge too but it doesn't smell.

Thankyou! I will give my midwife a call tomorrow. Could it possibly be thrush?!? X

Are you getting period pains? I'm 36 weeks and had pretty intense period pains from 4am this morning. They stopped at lunchtime but I'm on edge now. Had them on and off for a week but never this bad. Lots of stomach tightenings too Shock

Good luck to us both!

@Hummingbird82 yeah I get a dull period type pain too. But then it goes again so I have no idea !!!! Good luck to you Grin

Any bad smell could indicate an infection so definitely check that with your mw
