Transverse baby at 35 weeks

Hi everyone,

I had a scan yesterday in the hospital ( currently 35 weeks and 2 days pregnant) and my baby turned transverse :( It was breech until 32 weeks and it turned head down then and stayed that way until now.
Furthermore, the baby already weighs 3.1 kg.

Does anyone have any experience in turning such a heavy baby at this late stage from transverse to head down?

I'll do the exercises on spinningbabies again and hope that they help.

Is it true that you have to be admitted to hospital at 37 weeks if your baby is still transverse at that stage ?

Interested to hear what experience people have. My baby also transverse at 34 weeks...

My second was transverse at 36 weeks. I was referred for a scan at 37 weeks and told to take a bag as I would probably be admitted as it was "unlikely that they turn at such a late stage".
I stupidly googled what it meant and scared myself shitless. We had a very quiet week at home, prepared everything at home, went to the scan the following week, only to be very unceremoniously told that the baby was head down and all was ok. I was in and out of the scan in about 2 minutes 😂 went home and my son said "why are you home?" 😂
My daughter went on to be 9 days late and we had a very normal delivery.
She is now a 9 month old hooligan.

@Babyclark20: It's worrying, isn't it. Wish you the best of luck that your baby turns.

@JimLaheysWhiskeyBottle: Glad yours turned on time, it's reassuring to hear positive outcomes.
