Hey, I'm totally new here and to this world of pregnancy! I know there's probably a million threads about faint lines on pregnancy tests, but just wondered what people think of mine.

I took a Clear Blue test yesterday as I'm 5 days late (my period tracker is usually spot on) and have had typical pregnancy symptoms such as tiredness, back ache, bad cramps (I don't typically suffer that much with my periods), nauseous etc.

I'm positive I can see a positive line, albeit very faint. I can't seem to shake off the fact I am pregnant, but hubby thinks the line is just the sensor line in the test 😂 I don't know if it's all in my head as I want to be pregnant, or if it's just a rubbish test. After researching, I probably took it at the wrong time as it was yesterday evening after I drank a pint of water to make me pee😂I realise now the best time is in the morning and you shouldn't drink loads before hand. Is it a case that my hormones aren't that detectable right now?

I'm guessing I should take another, but is it worth waiting until I'm a week late? Does anyone recommend a different test?

Any help would be amazing!

Can you attach a photo :)? Everyone's different, I took my first test in the afternoon and it was two days before my period was due. It was a very obvious positive, a little on the faint side but still very noticeable. I did a first response test and the positive line came up immediately no need to even wait three minutes 😂 however some people don't get positives until a week late.

Take another test. I took about 7 before I convinced myself it was real haha.

But don't look at them after 10 minutes cause an evaporation line does appear. Especially on clear blues. You need to check within the three minutes and that's your definite answer xx

Hi OP, you can't post a pic until you've been a member for 48 hours.

I would recommend getting a pink dye test if you can (first response or even a coop cheapy) then testing with FMU.
Good luck.
