Over the counter antihistamines are perfectly safe after you are out of your first trimester.
There isn't much you can take in your first trimester just a nasal spray, but you would need to check with the pharmacist which ones you can use

I ve been using a sterimar spray (it's just saline) the safer antihistamines in pregnancy don't work in me pre pregnancy so I didn't want to try them again for minimal gain.

Nasal sprays are safe and much more effective than tablets. I have one on prescription but there are over the counter ones like Beconase.
