How is everyone coping?

How are people finding this heat?

I'm 38 weeks, went in yesterday as regular braxton hicks for 12hours 7mins apart. Got there and nothing. They checked on monitor and as they stopped sent me on my way. I'm also meant to be regularly checked for high BP and read my notes and I was 135/94 (higher than usual) i have a routing BP check tomrorow eve with my midwife.

I've felt sick all day, headache, had to lay down etc. Not been outside. Drank plenty of fluids. Sat with windows open, fan going. I'm asuming I feel unwell because the heat, is anyone feeling the same??? I dont want to call the midwife for a BP check early this eve unessasarily... x

Sorry you're having a tough time OP.

I'm only 33 weeks so a fair bit behind you but am feeling the exact same today....extremely tired, banging headache, feeling sick, sore joints, stomach ache, reduced appetite, dizzy etc. I've stayed out of the sun all day and had plenty fluids but just can't shake the poorly feeling.

I know it's not BP related as I only saw the midwife yesterday and BP, urine, baby's heartbeat etc were all fine so I'm guessing it's just the weather for me.
Ring up if you're worried though.

Well glad it's not.just me, although sorry your all not feeling great either. I've tried showers and cold drinks nothing works! Hopefully I'll have this baby soon and start to feel more human 😂🤞

At least you’re very close to the finish line now ! I’ve been using that cooling spray in a can all day, that takes the edge off but only if you sit in front of a fan after 😂 can’t get much done ! X
