I AM 6-7 WEEKS PREGNANT AND HAVE HAD SPOTTING PRETTY MUCH SINCE I FOUND OUT TWO WEEKS AGO. IT'S OFTEN BROWN IN COLOUR. I HAD AN EARLY SCAN AND THEY SAID EVERY THING LOOKS ASIF IT'S GOING THE RIGHT WAY AND TO CALL THEM IF THE SPOTTING BECOMES RED AND I GET PAIN, HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD SPOTTING FOR MOST OF THERE PREGNANCY?? IF SO WHEN DID IT STOP

Hi, I haven't had spotting the entire time but I have had some. Then on Monday evening/Tuesday morning I had bleeding that has since stopped. I had an early scan today at 6 weeks and baby was there with a heartbeat. At your early scan did they see the heartbeat? If so then it's highly likely to be fine! If not then perhaps you could have another or have a private scan to put your mind at ease? Best of luck! Xxx

I too had light spotting at 7 weeks. I went to my midwife and she said everything looks fine. She said it can be old blood or due to cervix becoming sensitive.

I understand your concern but please try not to take too much stress. I am sure everything will be fine fe you too. Just try to get a scan done to calm yourself. Fingers crossed for you 🤞.

I had very similar spotting 2/3 times in my first trimester - went on to have a perfectly healthy baby. Try not to stress x

Thank you all. My midwife didn't seem overly concerned today as it looks like old blood. So I guess that is reassuring. Hubby n I have been trying for do long I just want it to go plain sailing....

Hi! This is my first time on here. My partner and I started TTC this month. My period ranges from 33days - 38days. I’ve been tracking my period since I went off the pill in March 2019. We did the deed during the 5. Fertile days. My cycle reached day 38 yesterday. I have had weird on and off pains the week leading up to day 33, and on and off pretty much all this week, sort of in my ovary or around that area. Not painful just annoying. I noticed a tiny bit of spotting yesterday afternoon and then nothing for rest of the night, and again this morning some spotting and then it’s cleared up again nothing since. Tracking CM is confusing for me but I have had between milky and clear for the past two weeks and alway feel “wet” down there. Technically I’m 1 day late, which isn’t normal for me, I took a test last night and came back negative, will try again maybe at the start of next week. Has anyone else had similar And was actually pregnant? Trying not to get my hopes up!

@Glamourous12 that's a good sign that it's old blood! I'm sure everything is fine, fingers crossed for you!

@Kc2308 when I thought I was pregnant this time (lots of nausea and sore breasts) I took a test 2 days before I was due and it was negative, I felt so gutted as I had all the symptoms! But then I was a few days late and took it again and there was my BFP! Try giving it a couple of days and try again. It could be your HCG levels aren't high enough?

It's been going on nearly a week now. I'm a super anxious person and this makes my super anxious brain more anxious. i just want a healthy happy baby after trying 5 years... Just need to wait for scan. I have really bad sickness today. I guess that's a good sign

@Sowalk at day 41 of my cycle. Thought I got my period this morning as I noticed light pink but now it's gone again. So confusing, but I have scheduled a drs appt to see what's going on. Have never had this happen. Still testing negative

Just thought I'd add I also had spotting (some brown some bright red) around 5-7 weeks,early scan etc. Healthy pregnancy-My dd will be 7 soon. I remember the fear well- thinking of you x

I was due AF between Saturday and Monday, it's Thursday now and still no AF but I have had spotting. I only get BFNs. I was going to phone Drs tomorrow but wondered what your outcome was?

Hi how is everything now? I am 5+4 and been spotting since last Saturday which has always been brown and only when wiping maybe 3 or 4 times a day, but today there was quite a bit of red and now it's back to brown again, though I'm also having mild cramping too! So just expecting the worst, had hcg bloods done today and have to go back next week to get them repeated. Just a waiting game now but I do feel this is the start of an early miscarriage for me.

@SC1989 BFN period came on day 41. Which is a first for me. Never been that late. I went to the drs a few days ago just for a generally check and they're going to do a preconception blood test

Hi yes I had a day or two of spotting at 5 weeks. A day if spotting at 9 weeks. Then at 14 weeks I bled for two weeks! My son's 2.5 so he's fine x

I am 5 weeks had brown discharge mon Tuesday and Wednesday mainly when I wiped 2/3 times a day
My swabs came back and I have a thrush (no symptoms of this)
But since I inserted the canister tablet doctor prescribed me past 24 hours I haven’t had anything I’m hoping it was just that
I panicked loads on Monday thought I was miscarrying but there are many diff explanations for brown discharge so don’t worry
