So I have my scan tomorrow which while give me my due date, when I use nhs calculator it tells me I'm over 12 weeks, yet when I had bloods done 4 weeks ago they said I was barely 6 weeks. For last few days I've felt flutters and almost a kicking feeling, I might be going crazy and I will only be 10 weeks when I get scanned tomorrow 🤷🏼‍♀️. This is my third baby.

Sounds surprising. Guess is probably depends to some extent on the baby’s positioning? But it does sound rather early, are you sure? Could it just be stuff moving round your intestines?

Stuckforthefourthtime · 25/06/2020 19:23

The baby is the size of a strawberry with tiny nub legs so probably not. But it's fun to imagine it is, I did too, and congratulations!

I've felt mine at 12/13 weeks, so if you are that far along it wouldn't be impossible IME. But at ten weeks they're still really tiny.

Maybe the blood test person told you gestational age rather than pregnancy week and forgot to explain that?

I suppose you'll find out tomorrow when they measure the baby on the scan!

I felt my second around 13 weeks

ShalomToYouJackie · 25/06/2020 21:09

I agree, perhaps they told you fetal age instead of gestation. In which case the dates would add up

Babyfg · 25/06/2020 21:14

With my second I could have sworn I felt movements in my tummy before I even took a test (it's what made me think god that feels like a baby, let me check with a test 🤦‍♀️). It, rationally, must have been wind or things going on in my intestines but it definitely felt like baby flutters although it did stop for a while ! I did feel my second and third at about 13 weeks so maybe you are further along.

Out of curiosity is there a reason that there's a big difference in the weeks you could be?

sarahc336 · 25/06/2020 21:20

Well i defo felt much second at 13 weeks as opposed to my 1st at around 17 weeks so a lot sooner but 10 weeks does seem very early Hmm but then who knows Smile xx

Hannahp3 · 25/06/2020 21:32

I'll let you all know tomorrow how many weeks I am haha!x
