the jane powertwin can take a car seat on the back

ledodgy · 25/09/2007 15:20

The eldest goes on the top of the phil and Ted you know and the baby on the bottom.

I think the Jane powertwin is great. Both kids can see, it is only a few cm longer than the three wheeler I had for DD and is pretty light (for a double buggy) and manoeuverable. It can also take car seats. The downside is that it is expensive, but it does retain it's value well on ebay so you could sell it when you don't need it any more.

im having this dilema, dd2 will be 23 mths when baby comes and i really dont want a double as i dont feel itll be worth the money. how old are toddlers normally when there pushchair free?

Have you considered the iCandy pear?

Jane powertwin isn't great for older kids I understand. I have a girlfriend with two two-year old twins and they are getting too big for the pushchair she said. also it's heavy, very expensive and dosen't fit in small car boots. How about the Marco Sky Twin? Baby at the back can almost lie flat (so back is good when baby is about 2 months old) and the older child goes at the front (seat doesn't recline at all) but the advantage is that it is very light, and has umbrella folding so folds no bigger than a single buggy. Not car seat compatible though.

I have a back and front from Graco Stadium, and the back seat is compatible with some car seats. It also goes flat so good from birth. Front seat reclines a bit. Downside: it's heavy and big,but it has massive shopping basket.
