My last pregnancy, I didn't find out the sex of the baby, we had a surprise and had a little boy.
I'm 12 weeks pregnant, and just booked in for a gender scan at 16+4, as me and partner agreed it would be nice to experience both not knowing and knowing, plus it would make things easier in terms of clothes, if it's a girl, I could get rid of most the clothes I've saved.

Now i am Excited to find out, but also a bit nervous (embarrassed to say), I have a feeling I may be a bit disappointed initially if its a boy.
I really Would love a girl this time.
Any advice on this feeling? Feel so Guilty.

Don’t feel guilty, a lot of people want one of each.

Do you think you’d prefer to find out? I also have a slight preference for a girl so I don’t want to know the sex until it gets here, as I’ll just be thrilled with my baby. I think I am having a boy, though!

I was the opposite. I didn't find out with dc1 but wanted two the same. I ended up with one of each but tbh a baby is a baby. I was just happy they were healthy 😀

I really thought I was having a girl. Found out at 18 weeks we were having a boy. I'm glad I found out because it gave me time to get used to it. I couldn't imagine having any other baby. It's perfectly normal to have a knee jerk reaction but you'll be fine.
