Pram Shopping

Where is everyone going for baby shopping? (Especially to test out prams) now that Mothercare and Toys R Us are gone.

I drove over an hour to my local mamas and papas the other day and it was useless. Staff were so uninterested in helping, range was limited and a lot of it cheaper elsewhere anyway.

Im in the south east and the nearest Baby Planet is hours away.

Thanks!

Have you tried googling to see if there are any independents near you? I'm in south too and my nearest mamas and papas in 40 mins away but there is a local family run chain which have a huge collection and if not, I know their not cheap but John Lewis also sell Prams in their department stores you can try out. I've ended up ordering online to get a better deal but went to the different ones above to see what they look like this week as lockdown has made everything a nightmare! Hope you manage to find somewhere not too far from home! X

Go to John Lewis. They have loads and you don’t have to buy from there.

John Lewis have a good range. Reasonably priced, 3 year guarantee and the staff are very knowledgable xx

John Lewis is pretty good for prams. Smyth's Toys might have a small selection to try. I even tried a couple at Halfords of all places (before Covid)! If you're willing to travel to Oxfordshire (no idea where in the south east you are) Pushchairs and Car Seats in Wallingford are pretty good (but need to book appointment in advance).

Hope that helps a little.

Thanks all I’ll get to John Lewis 😊
