Hi ladies. Going to try and keep the details to a minimum.
Nearly 26 weeks pregnant and I've had loose bowels for 3 days. I feel fine and I don't feel poorly but I can't stop pooping!
Now here is the TMI it's just mush!
I'm scared to fart 😂😂😂😂💩💩💩💩
So sorry for posting this but has anyone else experienced this?
I thought we were supposed to get constipated not the other way around 😝😝😝

I'm 26w today and mine aren't mush, but they're not the normal solid kind. 😂 my farts stink and they never normally stink. Maybe we're just eating the right things to make it softer? 😬😂

💩 I'm 26 weeks too and I feel fine but like you guys it's all mush when I do go 🙈 glad it's not just me! X

lockdownpregnancy · 21/06/2020 08:30

I'm pleased it's not just me then! 😅
I'm on antibiotics for a UTI as well which I don't think is helping!
I think I'll be making more wise decisions when I go food shopping today to try and help my body out!

Ohhh antibiotics are the worst for my bowel movements!

I find that eating probiotics helps with reducing the mushy-ness 😂 Things like yakult or yeo valley yogurts, it just puts the good bacteria back into your system. Maybe that will help with yours?

I'm lactose intolerant so anything like that is strictly off limits as it would only make me worse 😭
Thank you for the advice though! 🥰

I find if I go to town on prunes things turn ugly 😂 Now I am limiting myself to only few pieces a day to keep things moving, otherwise it's moving too well.
And yeah, antibiotics are common suspects for loose stool. Hopefully things will settle for you.

Thanks ladies! Not as many visits to the loo today but still not good! 😫
Hopefully start to feel better soon 🤞

So I'm still not well! 😭 I spoke to my GP this morning and I've got to send a sample off 🤢🤢🤢 to check for a bacterial infection.
Is this dangerous to the baby or me, if you have a bacterial infection that's gone untreated?
I'm starting to feel really knackered now as it's draining the life out of me keep going to the loo!
Doctor said it was to rule anything out but reckons I've got a bug? 🤨 and then went on to say that there is nothing they can do to help me stop going 😭
If it's a bacterial infection then it will be another course of antibiotics.
Anyone else had this during pregnancy? I'm now freaking out something is really wrong and need reassurance 😫

@lockdownpregnancy drink plenty of water to make sure you don't get dehydrated whilst you are still going. It usually takes a few days for the results to get processed, and subsequent steps depends on what exactly they grow. Fingers crossed all is well. Easier said than done, but take it easy in the next few days if you can. X

Antibiotics always give me a really upset stomach x

lockdownpregnancy · 23/06/2020 13:24

I've had these antibiotics before and they have never had this affect on me, but MW said your body reacts differently when you're pregnant so god knows!
I'm barely now as I'm terrified it's going to make me go to the toilet.
I've had a bowl of cereal (with soya milk) and 4 slices toast so far today and that's it!
Quite the turn around given what I was getting down me only a couple of weeks ago.
I've gone from ravenous for the last 6 months to really not being hungry but eating something boring just so I don't keal over!
Well at least my weight gain will slow down! Gotta look at the silver lining eh 😝

Sounds normal. Even though you are pregnant it won't hurt you to have less food for a few days, not long enough to cause problems and you are still eating.

I hope you feel better soon.
