Hi,
I’m looking at buying the icklebubba moon travel system and wondered if anyone has any reviews on it? Any photos if you have any would be great too. Torn between the dark grey or the black. Thank you

I was looking at this one because it was so cheap. Before lockdown I found a local shop that had it in stock and I have to say that you could tell it was very cheaply made. It felt very flimsy which was a shame because it looks so nice. Some of the local pram shops near me have opened again by appointment only, I’d recommend finding somewhere that stocks it and giving it a push to see what you think

I have the Icklebubba Stomp and I think it's great. It's a little heavier than the Moon which I preferred. I did almost go for the Moon though as they are very similar. Definitely recommend giving it a try before buying though.

@Melbs6
Thank you for your reply.
That’s the reason it caught my eye too as I don’t have a large budget and need to buy everything again.
There is another website selling it for £549 so I thought maybe it’s just a great bargain but if it’s selling for £199 must be a catch somewhere Hmm

@Thatsanicepear
Thank you for your reply.
Can I ask what made you choose the stomp over the moon? Thanks

Have you looked at the Joie Chrome? That's pretty high quality for a budget model IME. Or what about looking at second hand for the pram part and buying a new car seat?

Thatsanicepear · 21/06/2020 22:13

It was to do with the base for the car seat. I think the Stomp had a slightly different base but if I'm honest, I can't really recall what the difference was. In terms of the pram itself, they are very similar. My one note of caution is that the Stomp isn't great on public transport. It's a little bulky and heavy so double check that with the Moon if you'll be on public transport at some point in the future!

I've got the moon travel system. I love it. It also comes with a 4 year warranty.

It's been some years since I had to look at pushchairs so I thought that was the baby's name! Very glad it wasn't.

I've got the stomp v3 and I love it.

BertieBotts · 22/06/2020 07:26

:o I also had to double check this wasn't baby names!

I know this is an old thread and this may be a stupid question. Obviously you cannot remove the straps in the carry cot, do new borns get strapped in, do they just lie on them, am I missing an insert?😂please help.

Another vote for the Ickle Bubba stomp V2 system (I think, it wasn't the latest release - which was V3 I think - as there was virtually no difference between them except price). I got it in their summer sale so it was a bit cheaper, and it's been great, still using it most days with my son at 2yo. The only negative was I found it really hard to use the infant carrier on the wheels - I must have been doing something wrong but it always took 2 people to wrench it off the adapters again to go back in the car. Impossible on my own! I was happy using the full pram though so it didn't matter.
