Hi I recently found out I was pregnant between 4-5 weeks I think. I went for a internal scan today as I had slight cramps on my left side and DR wanted to check as I have a cyst on my left side. At the scan the lady was unable to find the pregnancy and literally found nothing. She did say I had thick endometrium. I've had my bloods taken and am going for more bloods on Sunday but I'm so worried ☹️ anyone ever been in a similar situation?

I think it's far too early to see much on a scan?

Yep! At 4.5 weeks you couldn't see anything at all on my scan other than a thicker uterine wall! At 5 plus 2 you could only see the gestational sac and then at 6 weeks there was embryo and heartbeat. Try not to stress xx

It's a bit early for it to be visible on a scan. I know you can see something at 6 weeks though.

@marauder1994 aww that's made me feel a lot better. Really hope that's the case with my pregnancy. Thank you x

@Bethany6785 I went into such a stress at my 4 weeks + 3 appointment, as they gave me a leaflet with 'pregnancy of an unknown location' on it coz there was nothing on the scan! But 4 days later the sac was there :) as long as your hcg is doubling it should be fine xx

Bethany6785 · 19/06/2020 22:47

@marauder1994 should hear back about my HCG levels on Monday so I've got everything crossed 🤞🏼 xx
