Possible missed miscarriage

I really dont know what's going on or how to feel.
At 6+ week, the drs put me at 7/8 but I ovulate late so I know it's more 6 weeks. I
had my second internal scan and seems like a failed pregnancy. Yet my hormones levels are increasing, it was 270000, then 370000. Now 10 days later its 570000, nothing can be seen in the gestation sac, even though it's slightly increased. Dr saying i need to come in again in a weeks time just to confirm the miscarriage.
I'm now unsure what to think? is it still possible that the pregnancy is still viable? Or do I need to wake up. Anyone experienced anything similar

I'm so sorry that you're going through this @amazon1066. I would say that a rise from 370000 to 570000 over ten days does not sound too good as I believe levels are meant to double every couple of days. I'm no medical professional though. It's always hard maintaining that balance of being hopeful and being realistic, I think you have to find the balance that works for you. Wishing you all the best
