Babies close in age

I have a daughter that is only a few months old and a few weeks ago discovered I was expecting twins! It was a huge shock to my partner and I as we weren’t trying but we are very excited yet also nervous to have 3 children all close in age, so I was wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation and has any tips for us?

What will the age gap be? Xx

Hi no tips but I'm in a similar position. My daughter is 18 months and I'm 8 Weeks pregnant with twins. We were trying but not expecting to fall pregnant as my daughter took 3 rounds of Ivf. The twins are a complete surprise 😬

In Jan ( if all goes well) I will have 3 under 26 months .... It's going to be fun 😅

I'm more worried about how to pay for all the things we will need with twins. With a singleton pregnancy I would have just reused all my daughter's bits but with two it's going to be so expensive - bigger car, extra car seat/cot, probably a house extension as we only have a spare single room. To start with me and the twins will have to sleep in the master bedroom and my husband will have to move into the single room.

I'm excited but also stressing about how to pay for 3x nursery costs when I go back to work 😂.

How old is your little one? I hope you are ok.

Little one is 6 months old and I was already 11 weeks when I found out I was expecting, now 17 weeks and due in November, my daughter’s birthday is December 😂 yeah I’m the same, it’s going to be very expensive!

I am expecting my second child in July. My little boy will be almost 19 months.
Not in the same boat because it's a single pregnancy, but I just wanted to offer support.
Imagine all the fun you're going to have at Christmas etc in the future. It will be fabulous! This will be my last child because I can't face going through another pregnancy/delivery/newborn stage. You're getting two for the price of one as it were. Just fabulous!

To be honest , it’s going to be a lot of work but also sorta a dream come true ! Just think how nice it will be when they are interested in similar activities, will be so close growing up , will be able to go to the same nursery’s and schools and possibly be in the same class . Congratulations !’

P.s I’m 18 weeks pregnant with a 15 month old
