Hi, was wondering if anyone has Ruwan as a consultant at Queen Charlotte's and how they have found him?

sarahap - i have just delivered my first under ruwan and the private patient care package and cannot speak highly enough of him; if I am lucky enough to have more, definitely want to use him again. If you want more info offline from here, I have an email address that I used to exchange mnet contact details that you can get me on. picklesgalore at gmail dot com.

I have to say that in my opinion you are doing the right thing finding the right consultant.

I am going through a very distraught experience myself and it is massively important that you look after yourself and your babies and give them the best possible chance.

I had no clue where to start looking and this is the most horrific time of my life, in which I have spent days and days crying.

There is no harm is asking for advice, how else are you going to find it, I had to conduct research myself and there are very few consultants available.

Also for your information, I too have found out that Dr. Ruwan Wimalasundera is an excellent consultant and so too is his associate Dr. Sailesh Kumar. I believe also that Professor Eric Jauniaux practices privately from the Portland and then you also have Dr Nicolaides from Kings College or at Harley Street.

None of this is a secret and it is hard to find this information and no one is speaking ill of anyone, in fact the complete opposite. These guys are the best in their field.

And to read the comments that have turned into a complete slanging match is utterly ludicrous given the trauma that Mum?s are going through. We should be supporting each other. I can?t believe how nasty this is.

Sarahap, good luck sweetheart xx
