I found clear blue digital with weeks really reassuring if you want that extra bit. I would say I did about 20 tests before I fully believed it. even now at 16 weeks after my 12 week scan I still sometimes doubt it crazy i know Confused

Congratulations!!!! With DD1 I went through £35's worth of tests because I couldn't believe it so I know this feeling - wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months

Literaryseed · 18/06/2020 06:45

Congratulations OP. They look like clear positives.
It's very normal to just refer yourself to midwives. In my experience the GPs never do a blood test to confirm as home pregnancy tests are so reliable.

Congratulations @Libera88 ! I also tested yesterday.. and all of my tests came positive. Called my GP surgery this morning, and was told exactly the same thing.. they don't do blood tests to confirm pregnancy at the moment :/ + midwife appoint is going to be via phone e.g telephone appointment. Just wandering how they are going to measure blood pressure , check weight/ height etc via phone.. It is so amazing to find out About pregnancy, but all these telephone appointment make me bit nervous .. Does anyone know if all of the appointments are going to be via phone? Thanks in advance xx

Libera88 · 20/06/2020 08:46

They will do the physical checks and blood tests at your 12 week scan. Well that’s what I had anyway.

Milkshake54 · 20/06/2020 13:41

I’ve got my 12 weeks scan on Tuesday, had my booking in appointment 3 weeks ago, they will do my bloods etc on Tuesday.
I don’t think GP is anything new, in my last pregnancy they didn’t test! Just took my word for it! I was also baffled 😂
