Has anyone else experienced period type pains at 35 weeks? I've had them on and off all day and I'm not sure what it is! Didn't know if it was just normal for this stage of pregnancy. 🧐

I'm 35 weeks and getting them too. They last for hours and then fade away. I don't get any tightenings with them. It's just a continuous period pain.

See I'm not sure if I'm getting tightenings as such because my bump is always rock solid 🤔

It's annoying though!

I get the tightenings when I walk for more than a few mins. But the period pains seem to start when I wake up in the morning and stick around for at least a few hours.
They did worry me but nothing has come of them so maybe they're just another type of Braxton Hicks?

I am 36 weeks and have begun feeling what I can also only describe as period pains. They don't last hours for me as previous lady has experienced, but will come and go throughout the day (usually afternoon time). Like you OP my bump is always very hard/tight so I have dismissed the idea of Braxton Hicks. I'm putting it down to where they are moving lower down so just increased pressure from their heads heading further downwards.

Once again, up at 4.30am with these period pains. They're so annoying! I've only had 3.5 hrs sleep and now need to wait for this pain to go before I can sleep again Sad

Oh no @EverythingBlue2020 I also woke up in the night with a pain. It had moved to my back slightly aswell which was annoying.

I haven't slept well in so long I can't remember the last time I didn't wake up for a wee, drink, hot sweat 😐

The period pains went but were replaced with what I think must be the dreaded 'fanny daggers'. Now I feel huge pressure down below when I walk Confused

@EverythingBlue2020 how are you today?

I'm still getting on an off period pains. Very annoying. If this is going to be it now for the next 4 and a bit weeks it's going to be a looooong time. 😬
