Hi everyone, I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant and have had no real cravings at all - except a need to have coke/pepsi daily. Now this isn't anything new, I was already pretty much addicted to these drinks before conception, and I have managed to curb my intake to roughly a pint a day (instead of my usual 2ltr bottle...).

My issue it that I'm seeing a lot of articles saying that drinking this stuff in any amount can harm my baby. I've had all my scans and each time she has been noted as healthy & slap bang in the middle of the growth chart. I don't have any health conditions of my own and a healthy BMI (I'm 5'3" and 9 stone), so now I won't have any scans at all. This means that until birth, I won't really know if my pop habit will now affect the little girl growing inside of me.

Should I be worried? I know it would make sense to just not drink it at all, and I did try that for weeks and weeks during the 1st trimester, but it's a really difficult habit for me to break :(

FYI - I'm 26 years old and living with my partner of 10 years, who is also father to my child.

I was a Diet Coke fiend while pregnant. So long as you're not overdoing it with sugar generally in your diet I don't think there's an issue.

I have extreme cravings for raspberry Pepsi (I was a Diet Coke fan before pregnancy I feel I'm betraying them with Pepsi)

Realistically you'd have to drink a lot to over do it on the caffeine. You're fine drinking fizzy pop.

If you're concerned though you can do a caffeine calculator online and input your daily intake.

I don't know why I crave raspberry Pepsi but 🤷🏼‍♀️
