4D Scan

Hi everyone!
I’m currently 29+5 and debating getting a 4D scan.
I’ve never understood them before I got pregnant and now I’m pregnant I just want to do everything haha!
My worry is nearly every scan I’ve been to so far the baby has been facing the other way so can usually see her back or bum! Due to the cost I’m wondering whether it’s worth it but then I think maybe it’s a one time opportunity.
What’s everyone’s opinions/thoughts on 4D scans?

I had one last week with this pregnancy and also with my previous two and loved them! When booking, check that they offer a free rescan (most places do). We went a couple of weeks ago and he hid his face behind his arm for literally the whole scan! They offered us a free rescan the following week and we got some amazing photos the second time. It was even more special this time as my husband wasn't allowed to come to my 20 week scan.

I never 'got' 3d/4d scans before I was pregnant and have even been known to describe them as weird and a bit creepy 🙈
Never thought I'd want one myself but, a few weeks ago, I suddenly started thinking about it more and more and I talked myself into it.

I have to say, I have no regrets at all. I was 31+1 and just loved the whole experience of seeing baby's face and little hands and feet. For me, it was money well spent.

Before pregnancy I never got the whole 4d scan thing and I would always say “oh what a waste of money, I’ll never get one” and here I am 23 weeks pregnant with one booked for 4 weeks time ha ha! If you book with window to the womb they offer a free rescan if they can’t get good photos :)
