I've been prescribed this by epu, as a swab showed up thrush.
I've never had a pessary before for thrush, never really suffered with it.
11 weeks pregnant and a bit worried about using it.
I know rationally they wouldn't prescribe it it it wasn't safe, but hormonal irrational me is worried!

The pessery and cream is totally safe we just can't take the tablet thrush treatment. Pop it in over night and wear some knickers and a pad to bed as it'll kinda work it's way out over night xx

I used the pessary on Thursday after being prescribed it by the MAU doctor as I am 18 weeks,
I have had white discharge afterwards in the toilet and some soreness. I’m assuming this is because of wearing a pad at night and the treatment working by flushing it out ??? Am I right ?? X
