Dates dont add up!!!!! Help :'(

hiay really need some help and talk to some of you !
I had a positive ovulation test 3rd May. My period was due 17th may. On the 13th may I took a early pregnancy test and had a v faint positive line. I continued to test all week and got the faint line. I missed my period and did a clear blue test which came up positive.
I went for a scan yesterday to be told I'm only 5 weeks pregnant! Shouldn't I be 7 ?!
I'm really worrying!
Is that right with my dates or do you reckon something is wrong?!

When was the first day of your last period?

@molsxox sorry you're worried. Its difficult to say.
BUT I went for a scan when I thought I was 7 weeks and they measured me at 6 weeks, but like you I was certain on my dates due to ovulation tests. However by my 12 week scan I was back on track with my dates again.
It's hard not to worry but I think sometimes when baby is that tiny it's difficult to get accurate measurements.
If you're still worried, have another scan in a couple of weeks and you should see the heartbeat :)

My last period started on the 20th April.
They did do an internal scan yesterday but there wasn't a heart beat but then iv read online that sometimes you don't get one till 6 or 7 weeks and if i measured 5 weeks that's why.

Early pregnancy confused the hell out of me and between conception and the 12 week scan I’d moved 1 week from where I thought I should be.

DS arrived safe though. Try not to worry I know it’s hard but try. If you’re really worried maybe book yourself another scan for 2 weeks time (if they’re still doing private scans atm) and then you can check there has been growth. Xx

I can see why you are worried as with positive tests a month ago, you would expect to see a heartbeat clearly by now.
I would be worried too. However, I have spent a lot of lockdown driving a carless friend back and forth to hospital with a lot of bleeding and she could see nothing on a scan at 6 weeks, nothing at 7 weeks and then a week later, everything visible and fine. She's 16 weeks now.

Are you being rescanned?

Yeah she told me to go vack in 2 weeks to be rescanned. The sonographer was v concerned and kept apologising which worried me even more

I wish I had a crystal ball for you. It's so hard and 2 weeks feels like a lifetime I know.

I think the not knowing is somehow worse isn't it?
