Hi, I'm 36 weeks 2 days... this morning I lost my mucus plug and had lower back pain and period like pains off and on all day.
How long after you lost your plug did you go into labour?
This is my second baby and have had a feeling this little lady would come early!!

I lost mine on Thursday and still haven't had a regular pattern of contractions.
I'm 38+5 and resigned to the fact that this is going to be a long latent phase!
Hope you're progressing quickly for you and you're not too comfortable.
However, isn't 36 a bit early? Have you rang midwives?

With my first it was blood tinged and then I went into labour 24 hours later. With my third I lost the plug and went straight into Labour. Good luck!!

If it's clear or white could be weeks still, if its blood tinged or pink it's much more likely to be within the next couple of days or so :)

Yes I called the hospital and they dont seem too worried.
I'd rather her stay put a little longer I must admit!
It was clear so maybe she will!

I lost mine at 38 weeks and it was tinged with blood and there was a lot of it so I expected to go into labour pretty soon after that but it wasn't actually until nearly 2 weeks after I actually did go into labour so I think it really differs from woman to woman x

I lost mine (clear, no blood tinge at all) on a Tuesday evening and then waters went on Friday morning, DS was born Friday evening. How exciting that's it's obviously pretty close for you! 😁 Lots of luck for a smooth delivery!

I lost mine bang on 40 weeks, Labour began 40+3 and delivered 40+4.

Good luck!

I lost the first sizeable bit on Friday, bits and pieces over the next few days (due date on the Monday), lost a bigger chunk on Tuesday morning (then saw midwife who said baby wasn't engaged at all and to expect to see her the following week). Baby arrived Thursday lunchtime.

Lost mine and junior was born 48 hrs later 4 weeks early. I wasn’t ready at all.
