Hello,
So I know this is not nice to talk about but I am 35 weeks today with my second and have had bad diarrhea for the last day. I am not having cramps like I usually would with a tummy upset. I can't think of any food I have eaten that would be dodgey. The baby is doing losts of movements and they seem to be low down now with sharpe pain in my pelvis. Anyone had similar or know if this is the baby getting its head down if you know what I mean?

Dunno, but am 34 weeks this week and have had the same for the last 2 days. Not ill, and have no stomach cramps either..

Babypod · 24/09/2007 10:03

Have you eaten since it started? I haven't yet and not sure if I should?

FLIER · 24/09/2007 10:08

Can't you phone your midwife and ask her advice?

Mrswizz · 24/09/2007 10:18

I'm 30 weeks and I've been having this for a week. Its weird, am putting it down to hormones. Am seeing the midwife tomorrow so will ask her and report back.

Babypod · 24/09/2007 10:33

Yes prob hormones. Would be good to hear what your midwife says Mrswizz.

Gonna eat now then...am thinking chocolate crispie cakes arn't the way to begin but....

Sorry Flier didn't mean not to answer your question. Yes could def phone her but haven't phoned her before as I feel like I'm making a fuss and using up her time.

I had unexplained squits without pain the night before I gave birth!

FLIER · 24/09/2007 10:52

newlifenewname, I was thinking the same, I was def "looser" in days leading upto both births, which is why I thought they should both phone mw.

Babypod, you should never be worried about wasting their time, that is what they are there for, altho I know I was very lucky here in the highlands with our mws.

I had this last weekend & some sickness the following couple of days, I'm now suffering from headaches/bad nausea. I spoke to my m/w on Wednesday & she said as long as you're drinking loads & keeping that down and baby is moving plenty it should pass & be ok. If I was really worried tho' she offered me an appt at the clinic on the Friday but I've a consultant appt today so I said I'd hold off & see how things went.
I'd phone just to be on the safe side. I'm 33 weeks btw.
