Hi, late last night I felt a gush of blood, it was bright red with small amount of tiny clots. Since then there just has been brown blood when I wipe only. I have my scan tomorrow should I just wait or contact hospital today, has this happened anyone else with a good outcome? Thank you

Hasn’t happened to me, but you should contact you midwife today

You could call your midwife or epu for advice however with your scan tomorrow it's unlikely they'll do anything today. Their advice would be to monitor for further blood loss during today.

I had a single bleed at 12 weeks, 4 days before my scan. My friend is a midwife and I asked her advice. Mines was the size of a 5p and only once.

Mines did not have a good outcome as no heartbeat found at the scan.

I wish you love and luck for tomorrow 💓

Hi, it may be something unrelated or that doesn't affect the pregnancy that is causing the bleeding and they may be able to spot it at the scan. I know it must be worrying but good that it's tailed off. Good luck to you and wishing you all the best x

How did you get on at scan? @Cronin1

Cronin1 · 15/06/2020 19:35

Hi @Michellebops unfortunately it wasn't a good outcome. I had a MMC, baby stopped developing at 9 weeks. Thank for help x

So sorry to hear this @Cronin1. I can't imagine how you must feel. Take care of yourself xx

@Cronin1 I'm so sorry to hear this. Please look after yourself and if you need to talk I'm here to listen. I've been there and it's difficult.
Much love to you
