Bleeding after sex

I’m currently 31+2 weeks. Last night my partner and I had sex (for the second time that day) and about 30 minutes later I went to the bathroom to find blood when I wiped, it was more than spotting but not enough to leak onto my pants. I’d say the blood was dark red/brownish and looked like it had mucus in but I’m not sure if that was semen from my partner. Sorry for the TMI!

I’ve had some pink/brown bleeding today which is only just stopping now. Has anyone had this before? If so, was it just a normal part of pregnancy or the bloody show!

Thanks!

P.s. I’m going to phone the midwife now

Oh gosh!

I can relate as had bleeding once after sex but much earlier on! I ended up going to the ER because I was freaking out so much. But they said it was probably just because the cervix is more sensitive, or I could of had a small bleed somewhere and jiggy time made it come loose.

I hope everything is okay with you - stay in a little longer little baby!

Hi, I'd definitely call MAU just to be safe! No matter how small the bleed, they always encourage you to call. I got a complete bollocking off of my MW last week for not calling after a tiny tiny bit of spotting (36+2). Even if it is just your cervix softening, they'll be able to give you advice and hopefully reassure you x
